This isn't just making a pretty 3D model. has always been one of the great strengths of the MSFS series. You really have no concept of the amount of work that goes into making a high-quality sim add-on aircraft, especially the ones you seem most interested in like modern airliners. The "cottage industry" of third party developers making planes, scenery, etc. from what im seeing these "simulators" are way overpriced anyway, 30 bucks for one plane lol…) (makes you think about the "worthiness" of the product, when a bundle is cheaper than stand alone, doesnt it. Ps: ill also definitely start with something small like cesna : ) I was really surprised how much is automated nowadays in an "ideal" flight, i mean they even land automatically! yes sure the pilots need to do flaps, and speed and stuff still (i think) but otherwise they dont do much (ideally) lolĪnd yes, thats what Im thinking, its either really fun or really boring hence I dont want to spend much, and i dont even want to download much either, so FSX seems far more suitable for trying things out. I see, well thats basically all i wanted to know from a "technical" perspective - Im still unsure whats actually included in the base game, 2 hours is probably not much for trying out even the basics… It may or may not be fun and there'll be quite a bit of learning before you can do much but it's possible. If all you want is see the procedures and literally only "operate" the aircraft and that aircraft is an airliner then yes technically almost all you need is a keyboard and click on controls with the mouse.
